Latest bridal trends

He finally proposed and everything is milk and honey between you two. You established the wedding day and even the wedding venue. But what will you wear? How can you spot the perfect wedding dress, when there are so many gorgeous dresses that will make you look like a fairytale princess? Here are the latest bridal trends that will help you choose the perfect dress for your magical wedding.

A dress tailored to a princess

In terms of colours, you probably already know that mint and blush pink are the stars. However, darker colours make their entrance on the stage and they are rumoured to become the new craze of wedding attires. Even renowned designers such as Vera Wang and Inbal Dror are daring enough to provide gothic looks – and not just for rocking brides. Although the colours are a bit dark for conservatory women, the designers sure manage to give a touch of modernism and elegance to darker wedding dresses, too.

On the other hand, Hayley Paige’s collection displays a myriad of colours that will brighten up your day and your shopping session will truly be enjoyable. It seems that the designer had a lot of fun creating the gown – why wouldn’t you have fun while wearing it? Let the professionals deal with the details regarding the most important day of your life. Take a step back, relax and smile and keep in mind that your wedding photos will be awesome only if you feel great in this special day – and your wedding dress will definitely make you look fabulous!

Some say your groom should not see you in your wedding dress before the big day. But you should bring him and get his opinion, maybe the dress you pick does not suit your body type. Do not let your future husband waste time and take him with you when you will finally purchase your wedding gown. But consider the trends when you will take this decision: 3D floral applique dresses are very feminine and modern, so it may suit your personal style.

If Oscar de la Renta offers a palette of wedding dresses that are a sweet, yet modern take on the classic silhouettes, Angel Sanchez opted for the feminine accents, pastel colours and models that will flatter your figure. Another sweet trend that you should consider is the body veil. Who says that the veils should be placed solely on your head? Ines di Santo, Claire Pettibone and Badgley Mischka played with veil placements and veils were put on the tush or across the back, resembling a cape.

If you want to feel like a queen on your wedding day, you have to use a cape. This garment is actually one of the flings this year and we can see the reasons why: capes are romantic, wispy, soft – like a cotton cloud hanging from your shoulders. Off-the-shoulder gowns are one of the latest trends, so if you have beautiful shoulders and silky skin you will look like a princess nearby your brand new husband. Which one of these trends suits you the best?
